Sarajevo Technology Forum aims at reviving technological research and development activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and encourages the collaboration of national and research institutions abroad. Forum gathers the researches, worldwide recognized professors and experts from industry to exchange ideas and discuss major issues and challenges of the given topics with experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Forum is also intended to improve the regional collaboration and promote the research and development activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2012 Sarajevo Technology Forum presents Trends in the Future Internet Technologies: From Interconnected Objects to Broadband Services. The Forum will be held on May 24th and 25th at Hotel Europe in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year Forum will comprise of two day sessions, divided into blocks, generally according to the subject. Keynote talks will be provided to address the challenges of the next-generation communication networking technologies. Forum topics of interest include:
- Optical Communications and next-generation GPON - Information and communication theory and algorithms - Next-generation home networking - Performance measurements, experimental platforms and testbeds - Content distribution networks - Security and privacy in next-generation networks
